To march hastily into a battle of such significance and duration is folly, just as it is folly to be unaware of its depth and breadth. In other words, to partner with God however He calls us into pro-life work, we must first take the time to know who the Enemy is and exactly what he is doing.

Each person must make an intentional choice in humility to accept or reject what Jesus did on the Cross, and that choice has an eternal impact. But that decision will never change Who created that person or how radically He loves them. This truth is fundamental to our pro-life work, and it’s absolutely critical in engaging with other humans in a post-modern culture full of violence, extreme division, and moral depravity.
If history is any indication, moral atrocities like abortion and infanticide could become unthinkable long before they’re illegal. It was the compassion of the early Christians, in the midst of widespread persecution and unjust laws, that radically shifted the Pagan culture. We can do this again today, if we’re willing.
As Christians, we are beholden only to Christ. We are His constituents. What’s happening to our culture’s view on the sanctity of human life, and how can the Christian pro-life movement fight in alignment with the Word of God on this extremely divisive battleground?
It was one pastor’s sermon and one woman’s conviction that eventually drove abortion out of the brothels, brownstones, and back pages of newspapers. It was prayer, repentance, and revival in the Church that reformed the culture and made abortion illegal and unacceptable in the first place. The path to doing this again is the same.
A terminal prenatal diagnosis is devastating. It’s overwhelming and confusing—to imagine the suffering of your child and to grieve the loss of your dreams. But what if somewhere, in all the hopelessness, there was help? Meet Scott and Diane Peterson, founders of Sustaining Grace.
In all the chaos and outrage today, it’s important for us to stop and consider the simple, beautiful truths at the heart of what we do. Our new video course, Personhood Principles, presents the six fundamental principles at the foundation of the Christian pro-life movement.
NASA has just edged one step closer to the first space-created human. This news, and the implications posed by other emerging technologies, raises questions the pro-life movement isn’t currently prepared to answer.
